  1. I’ve just started a herb gaedrn in Autumn, I know. A bit silly maybe but I was keen to start and didn’t think about the season until I started researching how to care for them. I’ve got six herbs in a planter box, annuals, biennials and perennials. From what I’ve read, the annuals are nearing the end of their life and will try to flower soon, and I should ease up on the pinching back. I was wondering if it would prolong their life if I brought them inside. I’ve never grown herbs before so any information about other people’s experiences growing herbs in the Auckland climate would be appreciated. I’ve got Sweet Basil, Coriander, Rosemary Prostrata, Oregano True Greek, Thyme Chicken ( Westmoreland ) and Italian Plain Leaf Parsley in a long planter box.
