I am a lifelong gardener. My first garden was a 2’ x 2’ square along the foundation of the house my family lived in when I was in elementary school. I grew green zinnias because I was fascinated by the concept of green flowers. I’m still fascinated by green flowers and I still grow green zinnias.
I’m a Master Gardener now. I highly recommend the Master Gardener course to anyone with an interest in gardening. The course is available in every state. Just call or email your local agricultural extension office for information on when and where the classes are being held near you.
I have created an international herb garden at the EARTH Center, the agricultural extension office for Middlesex County. The garden features herbs from around the world, including medicinal herbs, culinary herbs and herbs used for dyeing.
I share my knowledge of herbs through talks at local garden clubs, libraries and Master Gardeners. I also give talks at the EARTH Center, the agricultural extension office for Middlesex County.
I hope you enjoy your stroll through my garden. If you have any questions that aren’t addressed here, please contact me.
